The Lawyers Leadership and Management Programme (LLMP) is a management training programme specifically designed for lawyers and senior staff in law firms with team leadership and management responsibility.
In today’s changing business world law firms are facing key management and business development issues. Lawyers must now be able to think strategically and laterally if they are to move forward and achieve success for their firms in an increasingly competitive and demanding environment.
Fundamental changes in the way lawyers are developed is key to the future of law firms – having the skills to be able to address the changing environment of law firms today, consider business strategies, explore leadership models, address the way firms develop their people, as well as considering how firms market their business and manage law firm finance are now all essential ingredients for the accomplishment of law professionals.
This dynamic programme addresses specific and crucial business issues and provides practical tools and knowledge directly related to business situations. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the strategic leadership and management skills needed to face the demand of today’s profession.
The programme offers a unique opportunity to acquire fundamental leadership and management skills, and for participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills to real business situations, or apply them to challenges that they are currently facing within their firms, thus ensuring maximum learning impact to benefit both the individual and the organisation.
Duration: The LLMP includes six in one-day, seven-hour sessions and the modules are held at the CIIM facilities in Nicosia.
