Τον Ιούλιο του 2025, όταν οι καταστροφικές πυρκαγιές έπληξαν τις ορεινές κοινότητες της Λεμεσού, δεσμευτήκαμε ότι η στήριξή μας δεν θα μείνει στα λόγια. Ότι θα επιστρέψουμε για να βοηθήσουμε στην αποκατάσταση του φυσικού μας πλούτου και να ξαναδώσουμε ζωή στις πληγείσες περιοχές.
Ήρθε η στιγμή να τηρήσουμε αυτή τη δέσμευση.
Η AGPLAW ενώνει δυνάμεις με την Πράσινη Ασπίδα Cyprus (Green Shield Cyprus) και το πρόγραμμα You Reforest Cyprus, με στόχο τη φύτευση 2.000 δενδρυλλίων στην κοινότητα Αγίου Θεράποντα Λεμεσού, την Κυριακή 8 Φεβρουαρίου 2026, στις 11:00 π.μ.
Η εκδήλωση είναι ανοιχτή σε όλους: οργανωμένα σύνολα, σχολεία, οικογένειες και πολίτες κάθε ηλικίας και εθνικότητας. Μαζί, θα στείλουμε ένα μήνυμα ενότητας, ευθύνης και ελπίδας: Ο τόπος μας θα πρασινίσει ξανά!

Η Πράσινη Ασπίδα έχει ήδη μεριμνήσει για την παροχή νερού και τη συστηματική φροντίδα των δενδρυλλίων, ώστε η προσπάθειά μας να έχει μόνιμο αποτέλεσμα.
Επιπλέον, θα δοθούν δωρεάν τριανταφυλλιές σε όλους τους κατοίκους του Αγίου Θεράποντα την ημέρα της δεντροφύτευσης, για τους δικούς τους κήπους.
Η εκδήλωση τελεί υπό την αιγίδα της Προεδρίας της Δημοκρατίας, στηρίζοντας το πρόγραμμα Φυτεύω για το Κλίμα.
ANNOUNCEMENT – TREE PLANTING IN AYIOS THERAPON
In July 2025, when devastating wildfires struck the mountainous communities of Limassol, we made a commitment: our support would not remain in words alone. We pledged to return and help restore the natural wealth of the region and bring life back to the affected areas.
The time has come to honor that commitment.
AGPLAW is joining forces with Green Shield Cyprus and the You Reforest Cyprus program to plant 2,000 trees in the community of Ayios Therapon, Limassol, on Sunday, 8 February 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
The event is open to everyone: organized groups, schools, families, and citizens of all ages and backgrounds. Together, we will send a message of unity, responsibility, and hope: Our land will be green again!

The adoption/sponsorship of trees is strictly intended to support the organization’s cause. The organization delivers practical and tangible results, providing greenhouses and the care for the trees, ensuring irrigation of the tree-planting sites, and coordinating all organizations and communities involved in the reforestation efforts across Cyprus.

Green Shield Cyprus has already arranged for water and the ongoing care of the trees to ensure that our efforts have a lasting effect.
Additionally, free rose bushes will be distributed to all residents of Ayios Therapon on the day of the tree planting, for their home gardens.
The event is held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus, supporting the Plant for Climate program.
