A private detective is working closely with lawyers and bigger law firms hire very often private investigators to gather evidence for their cases.

By hiring private detectives, lawyers can help their clients to  find evidence that will help them win their cases.

Even though lawyers are trained in research and investigation,  knows how to find information and how to use it, the investigators expertise and access to the police and to confidential information is required for the enlightenment of certain situations especially in criminal cases.
