ASIC Wins Landmark Case Against Kraken Crypto Exchange Operator for Compliance Failures

In a landmark decision, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) successfully sued Bit Trade Pty Ltd, the operator of the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange in Australia, for failing to meet its design and distribution obligations under the Corporations Act 2001.
