The Women in Business Law Europe Awards recognise leading women for their contributions to the practice of business law and also firms that have developed the most progressive initiatives towards diversity and inclusion from throughout the continent.
The awards attract entries from the most prestigious law firms across Europe and the UK with past winners including Clifford Chance, Baker Mackenzie, Herzog, and Sidley Austin. It therefore gives Elias Neocleous & Co LLC enormous pleasure to announce that Senior Associates, Kyriaki Stinga and Elena Christodoulou, have both been deservedly selected as individual finalists in the 2022 awards. In addition, Elias Neocleous & Co LLC. has been listed as a finalist for the South-East Europe Jurisdiction Award.
Kyriaki has been selected as a finalist in the category of ‘Project Finance Lawyer of the Year’.
She manages a team consisting of 8 lawyers and 7 paralegals/administrators within the Corporate & Commercial Department. She has consistently, for many years, been a key figure in the highest profile and most complicated transactions undertaken by Elias Neocleous & Co LLC. Kyriaki is considered by her colleagues to be not only brilliant, charismatic and a leader in her field, but also a mentor and a role model.
Elena has been selected in the category of ‘Rising Star – Tax’.
Elena manages the tax team, consisting of 4 lawyers and 2 paralegals/administrators, within the Corporate Department of the firm. She also leads a new team with focus on Private Client matters. Her expertise in tax and private client matters is recognised both within and outside of the firm. She has played a significant role in the tax structuring of all major corporate and HNWI deals undertaken by Elias Neocleous & Co LLC in recent years.
